introduction...

Thanks for visiting my page and great to meet you! Before I get into all my background/resume below, allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little about me, off paper.

I grew up in the mountains of Montana & Utah and enjoy all the outdoor stuff that you get to do when you live in a place like that! I also grew up in the airlines and became fascinated with becoming a stewardess as a little girl....'cause they gave out jolly ranchers on the plane. ;). I also am fascinated with helicopters, and were I given the chance to go back in time, I would have become a heli pilot too.

I had a fantastic career at Delta Airlines for over 17 years. Took an early retirement so I could be home every day with my autistic son.  I got into academics because I love the aviation industry and wanted to give something back. As anyone in the industry would probably tell you the same... aviation has made me so much of who I am. It is so much more than a job. This industry is a lifestyle.

I'm a mentor and believe you need to really know yourself before you can make an impact on your life or anyone else's. I like using Clifton Strengthsfinder with my students. It is so revealing and applicable to every circumstance you find yourself. Learn how you work best. If you haven't taken the test yet..... do it!

My top 10 Clifton Strengths:
  1. Futuristic
  2. Achiever
  3. Learner
  4. Significance
  5. Focus
  6. Adaptability
  7. Strategic
  8. Intellection
  9. Arranger
  10. Responsibility

Picture✈︎ The Clarke Family
Carlin feels her greatest accomplishment has been raising a family and feels gratitude for the many opportunities the airlines have afforded in travel, experiences, and education. She shares 7 children with her husband; her youngest is severely autistic. Carlin volunteers as an educator lecturing on autism, natural health, and success strategies with doTERRA essential oils....and is a self-confessed oil junkie herself!

Carlin loves sharing her enthusiasm for aviation and exploring the world with her family. She is fascinated with helicopters and has 20 hours toward her private pilot certificate. Her husband is her favorite travel buddy and work partner and the two have logged many hours together traveling the globe. They split their down time between Utah and the UK and enjoy family activities such as: skiing, hiking, traveling, and Disneyland.

"Thank God there is always a land of beyond, for us who are true to the trail;
A vision to seek, a beckoning peak, a fairness that never will fail;
A pride in our soul that mocks at a goal, a manhood that irks at a bond;
And try how we will, unattainable still; Behold it, our Land of Beyond!
